ALL SKILLS CAMP 

July 15-17, 2024
RISING 9th - 12th GRADE

This six-session camp is designed to train ADVANCED skilled girls entering grades 9 - 12, especially those on varsity or strong JV / club teams. Skill instruction sessions will include advancing the skills of passing, setting, attacking, serving, and defense, as well as position-specific training, team strategy, and tournament play. Fundamentals are crucial for volleyball players at all levels, and campers will come ready to learn and to do work!. Each court will be led by a college-level coach and will be assisted by current UNCW team members. Spots are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis upon receiving full registration and payment. THIS CAMP IS NOT FOR BEGINNERS OR THOSE JUST LEARNING THE GAME, but those who want to advance their skills for high school volleyball.

 

Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt with their registration.

8:30pm                       COMMUTER PICK UP - Sign out and pick up inside Trask Arena

CAMP DETAILS

1. Payment must be paid in full at the time of registration.

2. A $100 service fee will be charged for all cancellations before July 1st. 

3. No refunds for cancellations on or after July 1st.

4. No refunds will be issued upon expulsion or voluntary withdrawal.

5. There is ZERO tolerance for any use of alcohol, tobacco, or vapes on the UNCW campus and is immediate cause for expulsion and termination from ALL future UNCW volleyball camps.

 

EACH CAMPER MUST COMPLETE THE LIABILITY AND MEDICAL WAIVER AND TURN IN AT CAMP CHECK-IN. Please do not email or mail in prior to camp. Campers will not be allowed to participate without the completed forms.

College coaches and college players (current and former) will serve as camp staff instructors.  Athletic trainers will be on hand during the camp.

 

WHAT TO BRING TO CAMP

CAMP CHECK-IN:​

  1. Completed Liability Waiver and Medical Form. 

COMMUTER CAMPERS

  1. Volleyball equipment (volleyball shoes or good sneakers, knee pads, multiple t-shirts, spandex/shorts etc.)

  2. Additional money for camp store (volleyball apparel & snacks) - recommended about $30 in cash

  3. Refillable water bottle (CUPS will be provided at water cooler).

  4. Please do not bring additional personal items (iPad, etc.)

  5. Younger players may want to bring long sleeve shirt or sweatshirt (forearms can get sore and bruised from passing)

  6. A positive attitude!​ Open mind! Want to learn and grow! Coachability! 

OVERNIGHT CAMPERS

  1. Twin sheets for dorm bed

  2. Pillow and blanket

  3. Extra water and snacks for dorm

  4. Box Fan / Heater
